I am not sure to undersatnd the problem by reading https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1817214

In my case uri from lpstat and used by hp-scan are identical ( /usb/HP_LaserJet_MFP_M28-M31?serial=VNC3B92743 )

lpstat -v :
matériel pour HP-LaserJet-MFP-M28-M31-2 : hp:/usb/HP_LaserJet_MFP_M28-M31?serial=VNC3B92743
