Could you paste a dozen lines from your /etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings file before and after line 106? Looks like there's an issue with how the settings were modified.

I removed the 'LOCATION' : '127.0.0.1:11211' settings from the stanza (as recommeded by the open source doc.

Then I changed the following ALLOWED_HOSTS = ['*']

The dashboard started working !

Glad you resolved the initial issue (though from what you commented out I don't really see what was the problem before :/).

That other error message doesn't look familiar to me. Could you share what version of OpenStack this is, how you installed it, and also what's the Django version?

Usually, when those kinds of messages come, a service like neutron or nova aren't answering.

The LOCATION setting belongs to the session cache setting, WHEN USING THE MEMCACHE; simply shuffling lines around in the
settings file will get you in a mess.
