When Importing Quicken data using QIF File transfers are all dublicated

I tried to import my quicken data using a qif file that includes all my account.
This is the process i used
I created new accounts in Homebank with the same name as the one i am going to import
Then during the import process for each acount on the left pane i selected the matching acount in account drop down.
Should i have chosen New Account (global) option and import all accounts in it?
Is there a way to search folder and delete all duplicate transections?
Or i can do the import process again if needed
