PPA suddenly missing packages for LTS versions

Asked by David White

Hi, I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (noble) on both my laptop and desktop, fairly newly installed. I'm currently on Homebank 5.8.1 on my laptop. Went to install the PPA on my desktop yesterday and found the only version offered is Homebank 5.7.4; the version from nobles's repository. Checking the PPA here on Launchpad, it seems like the only packages available are for interim versions of Ubuntu; all the LTS versions have disappeared e.g. focal, jammy, and now noble. So I can't install 5.8.2 for noble on my desktop because it doesn't exist (and laptop is stuck on 5.8.1, with no upgrade offered).

Thanks.

hi,
same problem on my side. Note that the flatpak version (https://flathub.org/apps/fr.free.Homebank) is indeed in 5.8.2 but I don't want to use it because it is not verified

Indeed. I accidentally deleted a few package, and cannot reverted it back.
Since yesterday, you have 5.8.3.
