When scheduling transactions, how many days make a month?

The software allows me to schedule transactions every X months. Exactly how many days are considered to be a month? Couldn't find anything about this in the FAQ or the documentation, hence asking here.

the software add month by month, so if you set fisrt date to feb, 15, next will be march 15.
