Setting Category on Multiple Transactions

I'm a new HomeBank user and have just finished importing 6 months of transactions via QIF files - which proved to be a very smooth process.

However, during the process of setting categories I found it a little frustrating that I could not use the filter to display all transactions of a similar type, e.g. "BP GARAGE", and set thier category to "Motoring : Fuel" on one hit. Call me lazy but having to open each transaction to set the catagory is a little tedious.

Any chance of adding such a feature?

While I'm about it, it would be nice to be able to set up an "Automatic Category Assignment" so I could configure HomeBank to apply my "Motoring : Fuel" category whenever a transaction was imported with a Payee of "BP GARAGE".

Doh..!!!!

Just got around reading the Blueprints and it looks like the "Automatic Category Assignment" is already under development and making progress - good news.

Yes, otherwise, you can multi assign categories and payee.

I did look through the help but skipped over that section as it sounded like a feature relating to another release (or edition) - maybe that section should be titled : Multiple Transactions Editing.
