Statistics report (Category) do not show internal transfer transactions

In the statistics report if we are viewing by Category, the categories applied to an internal transfer don't show or add in the report.
to elaborate more:

I have multiple account in the system, when I add a transaction as transfer and fill all the required fields and the category field, the transaction display in the transactions list correctly. but when opening the Statistics Report under this category I can't find the transactions made as internal transfer.

Is there a way to enable this or is it considered as a bug?

This does appear to be a bug.

might want to double check if transfers were toggled in your filter.
