To output the full list of items under a split transaction in CSV format, you can follow these steps:

Access Transaction Data:
First, make sure you have access to the split transaction data you want to export. This might be within a financial management software or application.

Export Data:
Depending on the software you're using, there should be an option to export or download transaction data. Look for an option like "Export," "Download," or "Save As." This option is typically found in the transaction history or report section.

Select CSV Format:
When prompted to choose a file format, select CSV (Comma-Separated Values). CSV is a widely used format for storing tabular data, and it can be easily opened in spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Review Exported File:
After exporting, open the CSV file in a spreadsheet program. Each row in the CSV file should represent a transaction, and the columns should contain information about the transaction, including details of the split.

Locate Split Transaction Details:
Within the CSV file, look for columns or fields that contain information about split transactions. There may be separate columns for each item within the split, indicating the amount, category, or other relevant details.

Sort or Filter Data (if needed):
Depending on the structure of the exported data, you might need to sort or filter the information to group together items related to the same split transaction. This will help you easily identify and analyze the details.

Save or Modify as Needed:
Once you've located and organized the split transaction details, you can save the CSV file or make any additional modifications as needed.

Remember that the exact steps may vary depending on the software or platform you're using.

Are you talking about HomeBank? I am trying to export the split transaction data from HomeBank. When it exports, it exports the full amount. Can it export the breakdown of the split?

I was able to think about a work around. I'm trying to do quarterly reports by months. I ended up just getting the information for one month and doing it month by month by using the category option in the statistics report. It does what I need it to do, but it would be nice to get the actual transactions instead of doing by the category. Added to wish list. Not really solved, but works.
