Adding a series of past transactions

Each time a transaction is added, the date is reset to "today" before another transaction is added. This is cumbersome when adding a series of past transactions. Would it be possible to change it so that after adding one transaction, the date remains unchanged in the transaction adding window?

Indeed, there is option for this, thanks.

if anyone else is looking for it, that's:
Edit -> Preferences -> Transactions -> "Keep the last date when multiple add" checkbox
