HomeBank print or export filter results

Asked by D. McCammish

Household accounts in homebank. Need to export charitable expenses for tax purposes. Using date and category filters, have the expense items on the screen, but Account Export to a file does not produce any report.

HomeBank will export only CSV only and, on Windows, only to the user directory C:\\Users\"userdirectory" where "userdirectory" is the directory assigned to the current Windows logon.
Although the dialog appears to allow specifying a different directory, that has not worked for me.

This is interesting. On my system (Win 11, Homebank 5.6.1), if I am in one of my accounts and I set up a filter and then I select Account from the top left navigation bar, I get a dropdown list:
 Export QIF...
 Export CSV...
 Export as PDF
 Print
 Close

However, if I am not in an account, but instead select Transaction from the home page and then select Show all, then set up a filter, then select Account, I get a drop down list:
 Export CSV...
 Close

I agree with D. McCammish that it would be nice to have the same options available in the Show all page as in the user account page. I'm not sure I would class this discrepancy as a 'bug' or a 'wish list' item. However, I, too, would desire to have the Export as PDF option available in the Show all page..
