Bank doesn't offer transactions downloaded

My bank doesn't allow any downloads except for pdf files. Is there a way for me to start my account in homebank with a starting balance of a past date and then build on it?

Hi Cathy,
Sure, you can set a starting balance by doing the following:
1. start homebank
2. from the top menu row select Manage, then select Accounts
3. select your account from the left hand column Accounts
4. enter your starting balance in General tab in right column in the Start Balance field
5. close window
6. you are done!

By the way, you can also set the starting check book number by entering in in the Misc. tab on that page.
