Home Bank- How to delete reconciled transaction

Asked by Don Morrell

Marked a transaction reconciled and saved. Found that I'd marked the wrong one by mistake. Can't find a way to remove the reconciled status or delete the trans. Running Mint 19.3 with Home Bank 5.5.5.

Hi Don,
When editing a transaction that has already been reconciled, you must first unlock the view. When you select the account and prepare to edit transactions in the Editing view where all of the accounts transactions are displayed, notice the little 'slider' at the top left of the screen to the left of the word 'Range'. It has a little padlock symbol to the left of the 'slider' that indicates that the 'Reconciled' transactions are locked. Simply move the slider to the right! You will notice that the padlock symbol changes from Locked to Un-locked. You will also notice that when you select a 'Reconciled' transaction that you can now edit it as before.

Hope this helps. If this solves your problem, then be sure to mark this question as 'SOLVED".
