View Transaction Register?

Sorry for a trivial questions, but is it possible to see the transaction register in the main window when selecting an account?
It seems like I must dbl-click an account to bring up a separate window with the transaction register?

Double-clicking to open into a separate window is the only way I can find. The separate window needs the extra width for the columns and data it provides.

Can you help with this problem?
