Use of filters

Asked by Alfred GORSE on 2021-02-15

hello,
New in Home Bank, i find out a lot of options in the filter window when i have the list of transactions on the sceen. But nothing (that i have seen!) when i want to look at a particular "payee".
I think it's not possible to look into a part of the "payee".
For instance, if "Payee" is : 'Payee name in this list', how can i list all the "payee" witch contain the word "name" ?
Thank you

HomeBank does not allow a fine granular search for just part of the Payee name (that I am aware of). But on the main HomeBank screen, click Reports on the top menu, then Statistics. This screen will let you sort transactions in all of your accounts by Category, Subcategory, Payee, or Tags. I think you should be to create specific Categories or Subcategories that will achieve your sorting goal, but if not, then you could add Tags to each account with your desired keyword ("name" in your example) and use that as your sort criteria.

Can you help with this problem?
