Installation de HomeBank sur nouvel ordinateur

Hello ! I install Homebank on a new laptop, without probleme. But, what is the personnal Homebank data file I use during 6 years on my old PC to transfer it to the new one ? I want not loose these bank data. Thanks for your help. Have a good day. Hum, and I apologize for my schoolar English language !

You would have given your HomeBank data file any name you wanted on your old computer when you created it 6 years ago. The typical place to find it would be in your Documents (or My Documents) folder, but you could also have stored it somewhere else. Search for files that end with a .XHB extension... those would be HomeBank data files. You may also find files with the same name, but with a .BAK extension... those are backup files that HomeBank creates automatically, if enabled.

Sometimes Windows will hide the file extensions for known file types, so you may need to disable this feature or be very careful to be sure you identify the correct data file. Looking at file properties (date created or modified) should help to tell the difference between the data file and its backups.
