Wish: New Add Transaction Workflow

I would like to propose a 'wish list' item. I realize that this proposal may cause a major layout change for adding transactions. To make adding transactions super easy, what about when adding a new transaction, it would proceed as follows:

1) On Add Transaction page, select Expense, Income, or Transfer (if required),

2) Adjust date (in necessary),

3) Select the Payee field, type first few letters, then select payee (as normal),

4) Using the Payee field and the Account field, do a reverse search for the most recent transaction that matches,

5) Fill in the Category , Amount, Memo, and Tags fields from that previous transaction,

6) User then makes any adjustments to any fields as required,

7) Select Add and Keep or Add as desired.

This would eliminate the need for Assignments and would streamline the workflow. I know of several personal finance applications that provide such a feature and hope that you would consider this proposal for your fine Homebank application. I also wish to state that this Wish item is in no way a criticism of your application. We all appreciate your excellent work.

In my last paragraph I said, "This would eliminate the need for Assignments ...". Sorry about that, I was thinking about another program. Homebank's assignments are only for importing.

=> not necessary to add pseudo and uncertain behavior here

=> no, still required for people that import file from their bank
