File import problem

I am trying to get started with Homebank and downloaded 5.2.8, setup an account and downloaded a *.qif file from my bank but when I try to import it there appears to be a problem with the dates, the import window shows some dates as m/d/y and some as y/m/d but when I check the qif file with notepad all the dates are in m/d/y format.

Found an alternative that works, downloaded info in an .ofx file.
