I can't find split transactions in the transactions dialogue

I am a new user to Homebank which is excellent. My problem is that I can't enter split transactions as the option doesn't appear in the transactions dialogue.

When you add a transaction, the top is the date. In the next line you put the amount, at the end of that line is the split transaction button. If you click on that another screen opens up & you put the information in the bottom line (Category, memo, amount) then click the + sign at the end & it should go up into the list above.

This works for any Payment option (the line under the Amount line) except the Internal Transfer. I'm not sure what to do if you Make a deposit into your checking account but want to keep some cash out. How do you transfer it to your cash account?
