Is it possible to merge accounts?

I'm trying to import accounts. (This is getting to be frustrating)
I set up an account just like it said it was going to be, but when I imported it, the beginning balance (1 transaction) went in the account that I set up, but the balance of the account was imported to an account titles "Imported account"
Why didn't everything to into the account I put it in?

Probably because you did not choose the right option during import.
Also take care of targetting the right account
And it might be a bug at last of course.

I think you're probably right. Can I set up individual accounts, each as a file, then export qif files & import them into one file? Did that make sense?
