with split transactions: details in reports show amount of whole transaction and not only split part

I have regular bills that I split into different categories
e.g.
Bill1 1000, (Food 600, Hygiene 300, Household 100)
Bill2 1300, (Food 200, Hygiene 400, Household 700)

In Reports (TrendTime or Statistics Report) > Display Category: Food > by Month / Display by category
I will get Amount 800 (in list, lines or chart)
However while in list > Detail View will show:
Bill1 1000
Bill2 1300
(The category totals are still correctly calculated but I would have expected to see in details the amount of money that belongs to the category only - not the whole bill)

Is this a bug or a feature?
Used Software HomeBank 5.1.8 on Win7x64

any more details needed to answer my question?
