Windows 7 installation error

Asked by Manoj

Hi,
I used Homebank in Ubuntu and it worked well. Later I wanted to use it on Windows 7 but as I double click .exe file of the program, a command prompt opens and goes. Doesn't work anything. Nothing happens after that. I am unable to install the program. Is there any specific requirement of this program for Windows 7? (mine is 32 bit)

Hi,
I am answering my own question here. I figured out what was wrong. The .exe file which I was downloading, it was getting downloded through FDM (Free Download Manager). There should be some compatitibility issues with FDM and HomeBank .exe file. It was always corrupted whenever I downloded it. I downloded it multiple times but always it was corrupted. Later I downloaded it with default download manager of chrome. And now everything is fine. I could install the program succesfully.
