Importing QIF Transactions One-By-One?

Asked by Nathan Rossin

I am a long-time Quicken user, trying to migrate to HomeBank. However, the process of importing my QIF file has proven a dealbreaker; I assume I am missing something.

After importing my QIF, HomeBank allows me to verify which transactions I want to import. I leave all of them selected and click "Apply."

I am now being forced to manually approve each and every one of my 3700+ transactions, one at a time with a new popup window with this message: "HomeBank has found some transaction that may be the associated transaction for the internal transfer."

Not only does that message make zero sense, I am given the option to either create a new transaction or select an existing one. I have to click "Cancel" or "OK" in order to move on, only to be presented with the same window again for another transaction. I am not going to sit here and manually approve almost 4,000 transactions.

Did I miss a step somewhere? Is there no way to automatically import the transactions without individual approval?

Thank you.
