OFX file import failure - Unknown or Invalid File

Asked by Paul M

I'm trying to import an OFX file exported from my bank and it is failing as per the above.

I've tried testing with different import/export options for OFX files in Edit-->Preferences, but still the same issue.

Any ideas what the issue is? Any way I can check my OFX file content against what Homebank expects from an OFX file?

Thanks.

Ubuntu 16.10 - Homebank 5.1.5

The first lines in the file are (I've added CRs to make it more readable):

<?OFXOFXHEADER="200" VERSION="203" SECURITY="NONE" OLDFILEUID="NONE" NEWFILEUID="NONE"?><OFX>
