how to deal with cash?

I've just started homebank. Now I've a bank account opened. But I don't pay everything with the card, I usually also use the money in my purse. How can I enter purse-> shop purchases?

I've tried making an account of it, but then in the transaction window when I chose cash it doesn't seem to work.

I still haven't any idea about how to enter cash transactions in homebank, nor have I found any helpful information.

Anybody got any ideas?

If a cash accoun tis just a way to record an manage your purge, then i suggest create an account named 'Purse' and act like it was a bank account.

I have done exactly this in the past, had an account named cash... withdrawals from my bank account were then "transfers". The key to doing this is making sure to remember to ask for receipts for EVERYTHING you buy.
