Cannot see future posted transactions

Why can I not see any transactions posted for future dates although the setting has been changed in File/Properties for 27 days ahead.
Also, I entered a payment for 10 days forward from today, but cannot see it, although the 'Future' value differs from the 'Today' value by an appropriate amount.

Solved. If in the transactions detail window for the account 'Range' dropdown select 'Entire range' then all transactions, including future ones show.
It would be nice if this window could be set to default to 'Entire range' as this is probably the most useful.
