.svg icons not appearing in menu bar of HomeBank application.

Asked by OzVegan

When the application is open the icons in the toolbar (except the left three) and the menu are missing and it displays a white square with a red cross in it instead (basically a missing icon).

The icons do exist as .svg files under the /usr/share/homebank/images folder. I can view those icons in another graphics application.

Icons are set to root. I have set them to the computer owner but this did not resolve the issue.

OS: openSuse 11.0 - i586-suse-Linux-gnu
Desktop: KDE 4.0

Application: HomeBank 3.8

Is the application looking for the images elsewhere?
Does it need a library to interpret SVG files?

Don't worry. I found the .svg library and installed it. Application now shows toolbar icons.

Yes, it seems some GTK+ install do not provides the svglib by default.

Max.
