Lost Transaction after update to new release

I downloaded the most current release and lost all of the transaction history. It keep the current balance. How can I recover the years of transaction?

Any backup file on you system (a file named the same but with a ~ at the end ?

otherwise you might be affected by one of the remaining bug

I do have a file sith the ~ sign. How do I get it to open with it?

I dropped the file onto HomeBank and all is recovered. Such a relief, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.
