Saving file onto my computer

Asked by Colin Robinson

I lost everything on Homebank on my PC, but I had a backup on a memory stick. I downloaded Homebank again onto by PC and uploaded the data from by back up, and that is working OK. BUT I can't "Save" my data onto my PC. I can "Save as" onto my memory stick, but I can't find a way to "Save as" onto my PC. I have tried typing the full file address as in "Properties", but I keep getting an I/O error message.

How do I save onto my PC please?

Thank you.

I don't know why it happened. Saturday it was fine, Sunday it was gone.

Colin.

"I/O error message"

Such errors can indicate a file system problem or hardware problem on the hard disk.
I recommend that you perform a file system check (chkdsk on Windows, fsck on Linux).

Can you help with this problem?
