Version for linux

Asked by Kavoura

On the website, the instructions for installing in Linux require adding a PPA, but using this and installing Homebank I only got version 4.4.1, yet for other OSes 5.x is available.
I was using Homebank in Ubuntu (but my Ubuntu broke) and need to reinstall in Linux Mint, but only getting 4.4.1 which will not allow me to open xhb file saved from Homebank in Ubuntu.

HomeBank 4.4.5 is available for Ubuntu 14.04 in its repositories. The PPA you link to only gives 4.4.1. And for other downloads for other OS it is 5.x (e.g. for WIndows). This has nothing to do with changing language. This is about availability of later versions for Linux (without having to compile from source -- I tried that it and it failed due to unmet dependencies).

Hi! I'm having the same problem. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04.
I tried to compile from source, but when I run the command "sudo apt-get install build-essential libgtk-3-dev libofx6 libofx-dev intltool" there's no package "libofx6" only "libofx4" on the repositories.

Can you help with this problem?
