How to manage credit-card transactions

Hi, it is unclear to me how I'm supposed to manage credit-card transaction.
Should I create a credit-cart-type account, register there the transactions and then, when I get the monthly statement, create a new internal transfer from my bank account to the card account to make go back to zero?

Yes. That's all. It's my approach.
Every transaction write in that account have to be negative and
the transfer from bank to the credit card account, positive.

Then it could be nice to have a button that creates the internal transfer with the right amount automatically, maybe having set the parent account in the credit cfard account properties
