Split transaction when importing CSV

Asked by namelivia

I've been using Homebank for a long time now, combined with a custom made script that transforms my online bank's data into CSV for Homebank. It has been working for some years now.

Now I've made a simple mobile app to keep track of the money spent that I have previously taken from the cash machine. This looks like a single transaction in my usual Homebank file, but I want to insert this new data from the mobile app as childs of this single transaction.

I've seen that there is support for split transactions in new versions of Homebank, but I don't know how format should I export from the mobile app in order to feed Homebank, in the documentation (http://homebank.free.fr/help/), CSV file format, there is nothing about split transactions.

Thanks!

If you want to do this, I suggest you convert your mobile app export to QIF,
CSV is a very simple and the worst file format ever (for monetary purpose)

Can you help with this problem?
