Bank, Today and Future Don't Update After Adding Transaction

Asked by Dzh

Whenever I add a transaction by following these steps (I'm using a localized version of HomeBank so button names I use here may sound different in your language and in English):
1. Click Add transaction in the main screen.
2. Enter sum and all the other transaction details in the newly opened window. Click Add.
3. Close the window by either clicking X at the top right or by clicking the Close button.
4. The transaction I just entered is not applied to its account. I mean the values under the columns Bank, Today and Future stay the same until I do Step 5.
5. Double click on any account to view its transaction history. Close the transaction history window to come back to the main window.
6. The amounts under Bank, Today and Future are finally updates.

It would be nice if the amounts updated immediately after clicking Add in step 2 or after closting the Add transaction window.

I am using:
Windows 7 Premium
HomeBank 4.5

You don't think this bug is worthy enough of a fix?

Firstly, if this is a bug report you've posted it the wrong place. Secondly, HomeBank is only a small project. Basically just one person (Maxime) and some people that help out every now and again, and thirdly, chances are Maxime hasn't seen this yet because of being busy and that it's in the wrong place

Open up a bug report in the right place and Maxime or soembody else will deal with it when they get the chance

Thank you for the information. I have mistakenly posted it under Answers instead of under Bugs. Also, I do realize this is a an open source project, developed by a small amount of people, but the whole point of having a community around the open source project is having all kinds of contributors - not just those who develop, but those who report bugs and suggest feature updates, which is precisely what I did with this bug/question/request. If I had the time and resources and skills I would invest with a bit programming in order to correct this issue myself, but unfortunately I do not.
