closed accounts appears in "add transaction" dialog

Asked by Yimìr

In next versions of your wonderful software, may you exclude closed accounts from transaction window combo box? I have a lot of closed accounts (previous bank accounts or liabilities) and when I add a new transaction, often I choose the wrong account (to me, another little problem is the combo list width, too short to easely identify the correct account).
Thank you for your fantastic work!

We have identified a problem where closed accounts are appearing in the "Add Transaction" dialog. This issue may lead to confusion and potential errors when selecting accounts for new transactions.

To resolve this problem, please follow these steps:

Review Account Status: Double-check the status of the accounts that are appearing in the "Add Transaction" dialog. Ensure that these accounts have been properly closed and are not mistakenly marked as active.

Update Account Status: If any closed accounts are incorrectly marked as active, update their status to reflect the correct closure. This can typically be done through the account management or settings section of your accounting software.

Refresh or Clear Cache: If the closed accounts continue to appear in the dialog after verifying their status, try refreshing the page or clearing the cache of your accounting software. Sometimes, cached data can cause inconsistencies in the user interface.

Check for Software Updates: Ensure that you are using the latest version of your accounting software. Developers often release updates to address known issues and improve functionality. Applying any available updates may resolve the problem.

Report the Issue: If the problem persists after following the steps above, contact the technical support team or the developers of the accounting software. Provide them with detailed information about the issue, including the specific closed accounts that are appearing in the "Add Transaction" dialog. They will be able to investigate further and provide a specific solution or workaround.
