how to open saved XHB files in windows, using Homebank installed in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. it cannot read the file.

As per title,

Currently i'm managing my account using WinXP.
but i want to migrate, using Homebank installed in Ubuntu. i bring home the save as XHB files home, and try to open it. it cannot read.

Hi,

I am using Homebank with both Windows und Ubuntu. I have my *.xhb in my Dropbox folder that is synced with both Windows and Ubuntu.

You have to be sure that you use the same version on Windows as on Ubuntu. I guess that under Windows you use the newest version 4.4 and on Ubuntu you propably installed Homebank via the Software Center. The Ubuntu repositories have on older version of Homebank (I believe 4.1). You have to get the newest on Ubuntu, so both version are the same.
