I want to start over - how can I delete the accounts already in Homebank?

Asked by Charles Clapp

I imported an MSMONEY file into HomeBank, but things got messed up. I have learned a lot by reading help and would like to start over, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the transactions that are already in the system so I can start clean with a new wallet. Help

The best way would probably be just to create a new file

What file? HomeBank, or my data from the .qif I imported? Going thru the menues, there seems to be no way to get rid of the stuff from the .QIF. I uninstalled HomeBank and reinstalled and the same transactions are all still there.

What I seem to need is a way to delete an account, but once one is there it seems to be eternal.

Never mind! I figgered it out. If I delete all the individual transactions, then i can delete the whole account.

Thanks David Jones and everyone. I like HomeBank better all the time.
