Do I need Xcode to install this on a Mac?

my daughter is trying to install this software on a Macintosh. She states that it requires Xcode which is only available to Apple Developers. She is 1000 miles away from me. I don't have a Mac. I'm trying to help her. She does not want to sign up as a developer. Is there a link to a download page for a Mac version that does not need Xcode (I don't even know what Xcode is). Any suggestions?
