Software announcements?

Hi,

I have been subscribed to the <email address hidden> mailing list since May 2008 and have not once seen an announcement come via the list that a new version has been released.

Will the developers PLEASE start using the list to announce new releases as has it not been for a mention by http://linuxappfinder.com/ I could have well forgotten about this project.

If email software announcements are no longer posted here, please let me know where I can get email announcements on this product from.

I should close this list, as I do not use sourceforge anymore.
The announcement is done in my rss feed at homebank.free.fr
Also I post a release at gnomefile.org.

Please DO NOT close this list!

I visited both the places you said you use for announcements and was unable to find any way for me to receive email announcements of new/updated apps. The homebank.free.fr site detected thunderbird as my RSS feed reader, which I do not have, and offered no other email method to get notifications.

Perhaps look at Feedburner to change RSS into email, at at least something similar.

problem still UNRESOLVED but no option but to solve it to get this message posted.
