As HomeBank rely on GTK+ 3.x you can quite easily change the appearance, called theme.
You can find a lots of themes at http://gnome-look.org

Normaly HomeBank is installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeBank"

Unzip the theme under ...\HomeBank\share\themes

Then open ...\HomeBank\etc\gtk-3.0\settings.ini

Add/Change a line with
gtk-theme-name = name of the folder of your theme
for example gtk-theme-name = Adwaita

GTK3+ theme usually have dark variant, enable this by
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme = 1
