facebook status updates not showing up.

I just installed gwibber 0.8 on 9.04 using Synaptic. I have twitter and facebook accounts, the twitter account all works just fine. Facebook updates my status messages, but I don't see any facebook messages. I got the key from facebook it all seemed right, it does post to facebook, I just don't get anything back from facebook.
