How to open links in default browser?

Asked by adamnaranjo

I'm running Linux Mint 10 RC 1. I have two browsers installed. Firefox (the default) and Chromium. Gwibber only opens links in Chromium regardless of the fact that Firefox is my default browser. There's no option to select which application to open links in. Is it possible to have Gwibber open in the default browser?

Gwibber 2.33.0
Linux Mint 10 RC 1
Chromium 6.0.472.63 (59945)
Firefox 3.6.12

Get 'galternatives' and make sure that the following are set to your favorite browser:
1.gnome-www-browser
2.x-www-browser

That should do it :) or at least it did it for me :)

Can you help with this problem?
