Why am I not having problems with my web browser?

I just installed Gufw and activated the firewall with the Home profile selected (incoming: deny and outgoing: allow ).
My question is, if the incoming traffic is now set to be denied, why am I able to use the web browser without problems? Shouldn't the replies of the web servers be denied because of the setting of the firewall I picked?

Hi, because the browser is outgoing traffic, not incoming traffic :)
