monitor size and maker not my monitor size and maker

in setup I noticed window was larger than my screen , went to setup resolution and identify screens (I am using dual monitors) and was alerted to the monitor size and make(manufacturer) that has no relation to the two monitors I am using.. also I have a static ip from my iso which has no relation to the ip that shows up with my pc mac address in setup info. how can i clear this up? reinstall?
