GTG

Stable PPA for Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick)

Asked by Vadim Kotov

Thanks for this nice piece of software!

I wonder why there is Maverick available for Daily PPA, but it is not included for Stable PPA. My first thought was it must be quite opposite. Is there any reason for that? I would like to use PPA for updating GTG.

It was not by an intension. Launchpad makes it hard to copy a package to all Ubuntu distributions. I've copied packages for all distributions and soon you should be able to install GTG from stable PPA.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Thanks for the quick answer, but looks like a python-liblarch (and python-liblarch-gtk) package there needs some modification. It has following requirements:
python2.7 | python2.6, python (>= 2.7.1-0ubuntu2), python (< 2.8)

But default python for maverick is 2.6.6-2ubuntu2, so there are unresolved dependencies. I dont know how it works in daily PPA, but I guess it should not be just copying the package from latest (like Oneiric, Natty, etc) series.

Thanks in advance
