GTG

How can I migrate my old tasks?

Asked by Pablo SEMINARIO

Hi,

I've been using GTG on Ubuntu Karmic, but now I upgrade to Ubuntu Lucid creating a new user account.
And I would like to know how to copy or migrate my tasks from my old user. I made a backup of my old user directory, but I do not know which files must be copied.

Thanks,

Pablo Seminario

Hi Pablo,

GTG keep its file the XDG directory. It should be /home/<login>/.local/share/gtg Normally, if you copy this directory in your new home, it should do the trick.

you should also copy /home/<login>/config/gtg (it's configuration stuff, not the task themselves)
