Question: do you keep both gtg instances (sharing the data folder) on at the same time?

no, i dont have 2 instances open at one time.

but after i could not open the gtg on my "client" (where i have copied the data before via dropbox and the problem occurred ) i opened gtg again on original machine, closed, and then on client. it worked, gtg works now.

is it a bug or confirmed issue ?

This is not related to the couchdb bug (removed). I'm afraid it's not a bug until it can be reproduced somehow.
