How can I change the default boot entry in GRUB using Grub Customizer?

Asked by John

I am using GRUB as my boot loader, and I want to change the default boot entry. I have heard about a tool called Grub Customizer that allows me to customize GRUB settings. Can someone please guide me on how to use Grub Customizer to change the default boot entry in GRUB? I am running Ubuntu 20.04. Any step-by-step instructions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No need for using Grub-Customizer.
Just set GRUB_DEFAULT or GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT in /etc/default/grub, see

Go to the settings tab of grub customizer and set the desired default boot entry.
