nvme supported ?

Asked by Stefano

Is nvme supported ? It does not work with my 1TB Kingston A2000: it says "Error building boot sequence, check parameters." when I try to add an item (whereas there was no problem with my ancient sata, same PC).
(If I choose "other" and write the code by hand, it is OK.)

I am using lubuntu 16.04 (legacy BIOS, not EFI), grub-customizer 5.1.0. Thanks.

I'm not doing anything hardware specific with grub customizer. However if the devices are named differently, there could be problems when trying to identify selected partitions.

Thank you for your answer.

Yes, it is /dev/nvme0n1 instead of /dev/sda. Grub customizer allows me to select /dev/nvme0n1p10 (my ubuntu partition) but then gives "Error building boot sequence, check parameters." Is there any way to understand what is the specific encountered problem (any log file ?).

I am trying to load it with "type: chainloader". Maybe, because of this kind of device name, it cannot identify the (hd0,x) partition number or the uuid associated to my /dev/nvme0n1p10 ?
