Grub Customizer

Linux Mint KDE: Grub Customizer crash when clicking general settings tab

My OS: Linux Mint 13 KDE 64-bit
Kernel: 3.12.7-031207-generic
KDE SC Version: 4.11.3

I am experiencing the same problem as described in
https://answers.launchpad.net/grub-customizer/+faq/2469
"Grub Customizer starts fine. But when clicking the "general settings" tab it crashes."

Is the recommened 'Fix' applicable to LinuxMint also?
(I am not a technical person)

Yes - Linux Mint 13 is affected too and can be fixed the same way.
