Relabel legends

I am totally digging Graphite, particularly now that I've got SumSeries working thanks to Question #50435.

Is there a way to relabel the legends?

In paticular, I'd like to rename SumSeries(a.b.*.d) to be "Total d".

I thought that the Alias function might help here, but doing Alias(SumSeries(a.b.*.d), "Total d") produced a broken image.

Actually your usage is correct, this seems to be a bug. I'll create a ticket, I should have it fixed in trunk in the next week or so, I'll let you know.

Hi Chris,

I'm still seeing this behavior in the latest release -- any idea if this is an easy fix? We can try to fix it if you can point us in the right direction!

Sorry for the delay, yes this was an easy fix and I just committed it to trunk. Give it a try and let me know if you still have issues.
