JMX Definition

I have collectd which pushes data to the graphite server. For example i have graphite application setup and i am looking out for line item description of GenericJMX-memory-heap, GenericJMX-metrics-ColumnFamily-ReadLatency, GenericJMX-metrics-ColumnFamily-WriteLatency and so on and so forth.

Item description? Not really clear what you mean, sorry.
I think ColumnFamily-ReadLatency and ColumnFamily-WriteLatency are Cassandra metrics, right? Try to check Cassandra docs or resources.
